The Blackout Edition Sweat Cabin is a sauna designed for efficiency. Handcrafted in East Idaho with the highest quality red cedar, this sauna brings the heat and recovery benefits of traditional saunas to your personal space.

The blackout package levels up your sauna by adding an additional 2 layers of protection on the side walls and roof, ensuring it is water resistant and protected from the elements. These will last up to 2X longer than your typical kit sauna and are built to withstand the harshest conditions.

The heater included with your sauna will reach temperatures of 110-230F in 45-90 minutes depending on desired temperature & weather conditions.

Worth The Wait

I spent well over a year researching saunas before finally pulling the trigger (yes, I absolutely overthink big purchases). I’m happy to report it was worth the wait. This sauna has been an awesome addition to my home gym and has been getting a ton of use by the whole family since day one. It heats up quickly, holds temperature really well, and I haven’t noticed any heat escaping or performance issues at all.

The only reason I’m not giving it a full five stars is the installation. Even as someone who’s fairly handy, the process was more frustrating than expected—especially for a premium piece of equipment. You really need a table saw to cut the first roof layer properly, and the roof kit comes with zero instructions, videos, or even pictures. That part felt unnecessarily painful.

That said, once it’s installed, it’s fantastic. If the setup were easier, this would be an easy five-star review.

Best Sauna for the Money

This sauna would get 5 stars but there were a couple inconsistencies in the material and build compared to the description online. The vent was in a different location from the pictures on the website and the lumber wasn’t cut cleanly in some spots. With a little adjustments to the wood you can figure it out and build it.
The sauna itself when it’s fully assembled is such an elegant and functional unit. This thing gets so hot fairly quickly and i have used it almost every day since. I’m extremely happy with the product and Sweat Kingdom has some of the best customer service I could have asked for.

Great sauna and very easy to assemble. The design is beautiful and spacious. It heats up super quick and smells awesome. Some of the instructions were outdated but it was still very easy and straightforward.

Great product

Great product, great value, could use a better set of instructions than a 4 minute video on the site. The build takes longer than expected as everything has to be coaxed together, but don't fret and dont rush, it all works. Your dealing with wood, temps, and humidity and wood moves. Some of the electrical you have to have to figure out as well. Again, nothing that a good set of directions from the Sweat boys cant provide. It took 9 weeks to get my cabin and it came packed up nicely. I chose to add my own outdoor roof, instead of buying theirs, and should of bought theirs as its easier. For the outside temp remote control I had to buy a waterproof box for it as well, cause its splash resistant and in the elements.
